Hobbies: Golfer, Recreational Runner, Baseball and Football Coach
Overheard: "We are, and always will be, a specialist group that embraces a rolls up our sleeves approach to get the job done."
Word to the Wise: Life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you react to it.

A Man with a Vision: Domenick Cilea started Springboard in 1995 on a very simple premise: to provide a new approach to marketing and public relations campaigns that focuses on personal and proactive service and the delivery of tangible results quickly. Today, that philosophy still holds true and is the foundation for Springboard's success. The Springboard leader illustrates by example the importance of understanding the client's business, architecting strategic marketing and public relations plans, and assembling the tacticalteams to execute on them. This includes developing concise messaging, compelling content and zeroing in on the high value targets to secure media coverage that ultimately drives client success.

Domenick's dedication, business philosophy and leadership have contributed to building an agency that continues to flourish in an ultra-competitive market. Today, Springboard is recognized as one of the leading firms in New Jersey and was recently acknowledged by IT journalists in a PR Sourcecode top five small public relations agencies ranking.

Where He Cut His Teeth: A marketing and public relations veteran whose career started in the late 1980s, Domenick understands the urgency of delivering results yesterday, today and tomorrow - having worked on the both sides of the "agency/client" relationship. Before Springboard, he worked for a software company, Triton Technologies, and a NYC-based marketing agency, Set Marketing On. In 1995, Domenick left Manhattan and has since been involved in hundreds of marketing and branding campaigns, product launches, and other successful events.

On Starting Springboard: Domenick launched Springboard from a spare room in his house with two small clients. Within a year, business accelerated and Springboard moved to a larger office. Today the agency operates from a converted turn-of-the-century farm house located in central New Jersey. Since its inception, Domenick and the Springboard team understand the need to proactively manage and drive success. Throughout his tenure at Springboard, Domenick has placed clients in major media such as CNBC, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The New York Times, and a broad range of industry/trade publications and blogs.

Why Springboard: When asked what he would tell a potential client choosing between other public relations firms and Springboard, Domenick contends "focus" is the key. "When you hire any service organization, it is important to gauge their creative passion and energy, as these two attributes can significantly impact the level of success or failure," he explained. "These characteristics are what I remind our team everyday. If we don't bring it, someone else will."

Put Me In Coach: Outside of Springboard, Domenick coaches youth baseball, football and wrestling.

Points of Interest: Domenick received a BA in Management from William Paterson University and an MBA in Management from Monmouth University.
